<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite household electric appliance in which a large number of unit household electric appliances are unified in a single system, respective unit household electric appliances are simultaneously or individually serviceable, and a problem of electric overload caused by the simultaneous use is solved. <P>SOLUTION: At least two unit household electric appliances share a single power supply unit 308, and are controlled by a single control unit 302. The composite household electric appliance has a simultaneous operation mode for enabling simultaneous use of at least two unit household electric appliances and an individual operation mode for enabling the use of only one unit household electric appliance among at least two unit household electric appliances, and also has a mode setting key 332 to set the simultaneous operation mode and the individual operation mode.
