PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce required capacity of memory for storing tone correction data necessary for high-precision adjustment, and realize modification of correction data after completion of a display device. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with RAM (random access memories) 3R, 3G, and 3B which receive white balance correction data DW from an arithmetic circuit 7, perform white balance correction making data conversion to input digital image signals R, G, and B, and output output digital image signals RO, GO, and BO; a control circuit 6 which performs creation of the white balance correction data DW and perform storing and control of the white balance correction data DW to the RAM 3R, 3G, and 3B; the arithmetic circuit 7 which performs arithmetic process for tone correction data DC by a predetermined arithmetic formula, and outputs the white balance correction data DW; and an MPU 9 which supplies a data correction control instruction IS having arithmetic parameters including coefficients and constants of the arithmetic formula to the control circuit 6.
