PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle with a torque restriction mechanism eliminating an excessive torque from being applied to an input shaft. SOLUTION: This handle with the torque restriction mechanism is provided with a boss part 3 integrally rotating with the handle 1, a hub 7 loosely disposed in the hole part 3a of the boss part 3 and engaged with the input shaft of the operation object around the axial center, a pressure plate 4 axially movably disposed in the hole part 3a and forming a pressure chamber 9 in the rear side opposed to the inner end of the hole part 3a, a ring 6 axially movably installed in the front side of the pressure plate 4 and engaged with the boss part 3 around the axial center, an annular belleville spring interposed between the pressure plate 4 and the ring 6 and pushing the ring 6 toward the hub 7, teeth parts 10 and 11 formed on both abutment surfaces of the ring 6 and the hub 7 and having slope surfaces 10a and 11a engaged with each other around the axial center, a lid 8 disposed in the opening of the hole part 3a and rotatably retaining the hub 7, and an oil feed port means 12 for feeding operating fluid to the pressure chamber 9.
