PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can make the size of an inverting amplifier capable of intermittently outputting an oscillation signal relatively small. SOLUTION: This semiconductor device is provided with the inverting amplifier 160 which is provided parallelly with a vibrator and intermittently outputs the oscillation signal in accordance with a control signal CTR. The inverting amplifier is provided with a transmission gate 210 which is set to an on state for propagating a first signal S1 when the control signal is set to an H level and set to an off state for preventing the propagation of the first signal S1 when the control signal is set to an L level, an inverter circuit 220 for inverting the logical level of a signal to be given and outputting a second signal S2, and a clamp circuit 230 which is set so as to give the first signal to an input terminal of the inverter circuit when the control signal is set to the H level and so as to give prescribed voltage to the input terminal of the inverter circuit when the control signal is set to a second logical level.
