PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of adjusting the position and angle of optical parts regardless of housing precision, and to provide an optical disk device using the optical pickup device. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is characterized in that it is provided with at least more than one light source unit 201 for irradiating an information recording surface of the disk with a laser beam, a dichroic prism (DP) 302 for transmitting or reflecting the laser beam irradiated by the light source unit 201, an objective lens 307 for collecting the laser beam transmitted or reflected by the DP 302 on the information recording surface of the disk, an installation surface 16 for holding the light source unit 201, the DP 302 and the objective lens 307 and installing the DP 302, and insertion holes 10, 11 and 12 for inserting tools for ajusting the position of the DP 302 on the installation surface 16.
