PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a bathroom monitoring system by using a remote controller of an existing hot water supply system. SOLUTION: By using a communication converting unit 6 converting a signal conforming to standard first communication specifications sent from the bathroom monitoring system 5 into a signal conforming to second communication specifications unique to the hot water supply system, communication is provided between the bathroom monitoring system 5, and a water heater 2, the bathroom remote controller 3, and a kitchen remote controller 10 with different communication specifications. By this, the bathroom monitoring system is composed by using a versatile bathroom monitoring unit provided with a communication function conforming to the standard first communication specifications.
