PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus whose warm-up time is shortened by efficiently giving minimum heat required for fixing toner to the respective surfaces of a fixing roller and a pressure roller by regulating the heat conductivity of the respective layers of the fixing roller and the pressure roller. SOLUTION: Paper passes through a nip between the fixing roller 51 and the pressure roller 52, so that unfixed toner on the paper is fixed. A first heating roller 53 comes into close contact with the fixing roller 51 and a second heating roller 54 comes into close contact with the pressure roller 52. The heat conductivity of a mold-released layer 59 constituting the outermost layers of the fixing roller 51 and the pressure roller 52 is desirably set as≥0.15W/Mk and≤0.90W/Mk, and the heat conductivity of an elastic body layer 58 inside the mold-released layer 59 is desirably set as≤0.15W/Mk and the heat conductivity of an intermediate layer 60 provided between the mold-released layer 59 and the elastic body layer 58 is desirably set as≥0.15W/Mk and≤1.10W/Mk.
