PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entry control system solving such a problem that there is the need of additionally correcting a pattern definition itself of a passing condition to prevent the increase and complications of a pattern of the passing condition in the case the number of the pattern of the passing condition is given to an additional post holder of a plurality of departments resulting from complications of the construction of a department or a managerial position. SOLUTION: The entry control system includes an individual ID reader 2c for reading an individual ID, an electric lock 2b set in a passing door, a passing condition individual table 5a setting a plurality of passing condition pattern numbers therein in accordance with the individual ID, a self-conduct pass by door in accordance with the passing condition pattern number, a passing condition pattern table 5b setting a non-permitted passing condition therein and a passing controller 2a recognizing the passing condition pattern number from the passing condition individual table based on the individual ID read by the individual ID reader and unlocking the electric lock when a door corresponding to the passing condition pattern number recognized from the passing condition pattern table is permitted of passing through.
