PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf equipment with a simple constitution, which is easily operated and secures safety for an operator. SOLUTION: An operating button 41 of a passage S for works which is opened for handling of articles is selected, operated and reserved. While the button 41 corresponding to the passage S presently opened is being operated, an mobile shelf is moved to form the reserved passage S. By this constitution, the process in which the passage S is being closed from a presently opened state is visually inspected by the operator, thereby preventing other operators from entering the passage S being closed and securing safety. The required passage S is formed only by operating the button 41 twice, so that the operation is more facilitated than ever. Furthermore, the constitution is simplified and the costs are reduced.
