PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device which is the conformation having a cage installing an apparatus installed under a cage floor such as an electric apparatus box on the under surface, and into/out of the elevator shaft, the worker can easily go in and come out from the dead space between the floor surface of the landing doorway and a stopped cage. SOLUTION: The apparatus 29 installed under a cage floor is mounted on the underfloor of the cage 1, and the cage is operated through a winding machine and a controller provided in the elevator shaft 1. The apparatus 29 installed under the cage floor is fixedly placed on the prescribed position near the landing of the elevator shaft 1 in the cage 2, and a mounting means 34 movably mounting the apparatus 29 installed under the cage floor by human operation is provided. The worker can easily enter/come out from the elevator shaft from the dead space between the floor 5 of the cage 2 and the floor surface of the lowest floor landing doorway by moving the apparatus 2 installed under the cage floor with the mounting means 34 at the time of occurrence of the failure, and workability such as trouble shooting or the like is improved.
