PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower 1 of an air conditioner having high fixing rigidity and restraining occurrence of noise due to motor magnetism or vibration due to fan unbalance with a simple structure of not worsening of forming property and increasing of costs when a fan motor 4 is fastened to a fixing opening 22 of a casing 2. SOLUTION: A blower of this air conditioner comprises the casing 2 with a fixing opening 22 of the fan motor 4 formed on the side wall, a fan 3 arranged inside the casing 2, and a flange 46 blocking the fixing opening 22, and the flange 46 is formed by the fan motor 4 fastened by a plurality of screws on the side wall. The blower 1 of the air conditioner is assembled to a dual cylindrical recessed part 7 extended from either edge part of the fixing opening 22 or outer peripheral part of the flange 46 by engaging a cylindrical part 6 extended from the other part. A rib 8 is provided to an engagement surface between the dual cylindrical recessed part and the cylindrical part 6 and engagement force is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
