PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design of appearance and to enable the rotation of a rotating member to be easily caught. SOLUTION: The fishing component has a casting-control knob 19. The casting control knob 19 has a component body 10 made of a synthetic resin, and a metallic diamond-cut part 11 formed at the surface layer side of the component body 10, formed so that the cross section may form a regular tetracosagon and having luster planes 11a, 11b...11x of 24 facets. The diamond cut part 11 is formed by subjecting the component body 10 to plating treatment, and the surface of the diamond cut part 11 is formed so as to have the regular tetracosagon similar to the component body 10. The luster planes 11a, 11b...11x are regulated so as to reflect light variously by the diamond cut processing and luster color of a metal when the casting control knob 19 is rotated.
