<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle engine torque adjusting method and a device with which the safe traveling behavior of a vehicle, especially a motorcycle can be achieved when traveling a curved road. <P>SOLUTION: In the motorcycle engine torque adjusting method, in which a value of the force that works laterally to a motorcycle when traveling a curved road is obtained, the maximum value of the acceleration force Fb that works in the running direction or the acceleration in the fore-and-aft direction is obtained as reference function of values of the force that works laterally to the motorcycle.
