PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with a case of laminated films, having enhanced waterproof performance. SOLUTION: A compressed part 27 is provided at the side end part of laminated films 20 forming the case of a battery element by thermally pressurizing and compressing the part by a heat press die 31 having a projecting part 32. Thereby, a resin film 23 is compressed, and water is prevented from being infiltrated from the bonded part of the laminated films. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
