PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for storing a file at a storage location designated by a client for making it possible for a user to easily designate the place where the user wants to store the file. SOLUTION: In response to a tree structure request mail from a client 100a, a server 200 generates a tree structure concerning a folder to which a user is able to perform access, and returns the tree structure by writing it in a mail (S103 to S109). The user receives the mail in which the tree structure is written, and designates the storage location in a format for returning it, and transmits a mail attached with a file to be stored to the server 200 (S111).
