PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning medium which has high production efficiency, is easy to change in design, and requires only a small space for storage and transportation. SOLUTION: The cushioning medium consists of a U-shaped body 10 in a plan view and a coupling material 20. Opposite rising parts 13a of the body 10 are rotated 90°via hinges 11a to raise them. A coupling projection 14 formed on the upper surface of the rising part 13a is rotated 90°inward via a hinge 11b. A coupling projection 21 of the coupling material 20 is fitted with the coupling projection 14 to be unified. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
