PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car stop which provivides open feeling and exerts a sure car-stop function. SOLUTION: A pit is dug in an entrance for a vehicle, and a barricade body 3 is built into the pit in the state of being capable of protruding/receding. During business hours, the barricade body 3 is lowered until a top board 8 reaches the same level as that of ground, so that the vehicle can freely pass over the barricade body 3. At the close of business, the entrance is closed by protruding the barricade body 3 from inside the pit, so that the vehicle can be prevented from going out from the inside of a motor pool P.
