<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which surely and accurately classifies and manages image pickup information by avoiding erroneous double transmission of the image pickup information in simple configuration and control operation, and can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: A memory 10 for picked-up image data is formed with a transmission target directory 27 for storing transmission target picked-up data to an external device 23 and a transmitted directory 29 to be moved and stored from the transmission target directory 27. The picked-up image data of an object are first stored in the transmission target directory 27, and the picked-up image data transmitted to the external device 23 are moved and stored in the transmitted directory 29. The camera eliminates necessity to create a code intrinsic for a file and to compare a code intrinsic for a transmitting file with intrinsic codes of all stored files in the external device to be miniaturized in simple configuration and control. Further, the picked-up image data are classified and stored in the memory 10 while avoiding the erroneous double transmission to the external device 23 to speedily manage the picked-up image data while freely dealing with a utilization request in the external device 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
