<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inkjet recording ink having high ejection stability and indefective in hue, weathering resistance, water resistance, and image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink is prepared by dissolving and/or dispersing at least one dye in which the λmax of an absorption spectrum in an aqueous solution falls within the range of 390-470 nm, and the ratio I (λmax + 70 nm)/I (λmax) [wherein I(λmax) is the absorbance at λmax, and I (λmax + 70 nm) is the absorbance at λmax + 70 nm] is 0.4 or smaller and contains 0.05-50 g/L of a surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
