<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delation balloon catheter for relieving burden on an operator in delating a narrowed area or a blockage in the lumens of a living body such as a gastrointestinal tract. <P>SOLUTION: This dilation balloon catheter minimally includes: shafts 2, 2' for penetration in a longitudinal direction, having one main inner cavity and at least one sub-inner cavity; a balloon consisting of a cylindrical part and substantially conical parts at both the ends of it; and a tip end tube. The catheter comprises a means 14 for fixing the shafts to an endoscope 17.
