DIE CASTING METHOD AND DIE CASTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reliably prevent the mixing of solidified piece at the initial stage into a cast product.

SOLUTION: In a fixed die 11 provided with a sleeve 13, a runner 16 and a biscuit-forming part 17 are formed. In a movable die 12, a projecting part 20 protruded so as to be faced to a spouting hole 13b in the sleeve 13 and accommodated in the biscuit-forming part 17 when the die is clamped is arranged. In the projecting part 20, a contracted part 21 is formed in clamping between the inner circumferential surface of the spouting hole 13b in the sleeve 13. The contracted part 21 limits the movement of a metal-net filter 22 so that this filter 22 is not pushed from the sleeve 13 into a cavity 15 by molten metal poured from a sleeve 13 into the cavity 15 in casting. Thus the filter effect is kept until completing the fill-up of the molten metal.
