<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip provided with an on-system programmable nonvolatile memory and off-system programmable nonvolatile memory, and its forming method and programming method. <P>SOLUTION: The chip provided with on-system and off-system programmable nonvolatile memories is provided with a control circuit connected to these nonvolatile memories and a boosting circuit connected to the on-system programmable nonvolatile memories, and in a recording mode of the chip, recording voltage required for programming the off-system programmable nonvolatile memory is provided from the outside, in an operation node of the chip, the boosting circuit generates recording voltage from power source voltage of the chip and provides it to the on-system programmable nonvolatile memory, and programs the on-system programmable nonvolatile memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
