<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for surely compressing a structured document file expressed according to a structured document specification. <P>SOLUTION: This structured document file processor detects an identifier from a model file, detects an identified character string from the structured document file, compresses the file by substituting respective data for expressing the character strings constituting a character string group in a relation of complete consistency in a set constituted of the character strings which the detected identifier has, and name character strings included in the identified character string, out of the data constituting the model file in which the identifier is detected and the structured document file where the identified character string is detected, with a data expressing one character string having a length enough to identify a model in the model file and the structured document file, and stores the compressed file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
