DECOMPOSITION APPARATUS FOR NATURAL GAS HYDRATE PELLET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose a pelletized natural gas hydrate at a high speed to quickly meet the variation of the demand of the gas. SOLUTION: The decomposition apparatus is composed of a mixer 1 to receive the pellet (a) of a natural gas hydrate and water (b) circulating in the system and mix the pellet (a) with the water (b), a slurry pump 7 to perform the crushing/pressure-transfer of the mixture of the natural gas hydrate pellet (a) and water (b) mixed by the mixer, a regasification apparatus 10 to introduce the slurry natural gas hydrate transferred by the slurry pump into a pipe 12 and introducing a heat-source water (d) to the outside of the pipe 12 to decompose the natural gas hydrate, and a gas/liquid separator 4 to receive the two-phase flow composed of natural gas and water from the regasification apparatus and separate the flow into water (b) and the natural gas (e).
