PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper packaging bag which can be reused as a waste bag or the like and is suitable for use on a rainy day. SOLUTION: The newspaper packaging bag is made of a decomposable polymer composition including a decomposable resin component, a decomposition promoting component and a decomposition suppressive component. The decomposition promoting component is provided on the internal surface of the newspaper bag. The decomposition suppressive component is provided on the external surface of the bag. The newspaper packaging bag has a width of a base longer than a short side and shorter than a long side of four-fold newspapers. It has a sufficient length from the base to an opening to prevent rainwater from entering as the opening is folded back after putting in the four-fold newspapers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
