PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform power saving control, based on a control signal transmitted from an electronic apparatus, concerning a power unit. SOLUTION: The power unit 1 is equipped with a primary circuit 12 which forms a DC power source from an AC power source and switches and outputs it, a secondary circuit 13 which forms a desired DC power source from the output of the primary circuit 12 and outputs it to power lines 2 and 3, a power control means 11 which extracts a specified control signal being superposed on the potential of a power potential line 2 and sent from an electronic apparatus 4 and controls the power consumption in the primary circuit 12, based on it, and a superposed signal cut filter 14 which is provided between the power source lines 2 and 3 and the secondary circuit 13 and cuts the control signal.
