PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit (high-frequency IC) for communication which can transfer an oscillation signal outputted from an on-chip common oscillation circuit which serves as a common oscillation circuit for a reception side and a transmission side to an objective circuit without being attenuated, which can improve an SN ratio of the oscillation signal transferred, and which has an excellent noise characteristic. SOLUTION: A single oscillation circuit (RFVCO 250) serves as an oscillation circuit generating any of oscillation signal used at a reception system circuit and generating any of oscillation signal used at a transmission system circuit, and it is formed on a single semiconductor chip with modem circuits (212, 240). A buffer amplifier (290) is provided for amplifying a signal on a signal line which transfers the oscillation signal outputted from the on-chip common oscillation circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
