PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for instantaneously removing an excessive liquid crystal which is injected by an immersion method and stuck to the lower part of an injection port and the lower part of the outer surface of a substrate. SOLUTION: Directly after the liquid crystal is injected from the injection port into the liquid crystal substrate by the immersion method, the substrate which has the excessive liquid crystal stuck to the lower surface of the injection port and the lower part of the outer surface thereof and swelling outward is charged into a tool A, the stuck liquid crystal is separated from the substrate by feeding pressurized gas from a pressurized gas feeding hole 6 and the separated liquid crystal is sucked from a vacuum sucking hole 8 to remove the excessive liquid crystal stuck to the lower surface of the injection port and the outer surface of the substrate.
