PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric for an air bag, free from the lowering of the physical properties of the yarn caused by coloring a marking fiber for air bag and usable without lowering the principal properties for air bag base cloth such as air permeability, strength and heat-resistance. SOLUTION: The high-density woven fabric is composed of a mass-colored yarn colored in the polymer stage or a yarn manufacturing stage and a non-colored yarn. The yarn is composed of a polyamide having a relative viscosity of≥3.0 in sulfuric acid, the yarn strength is≥6 cN/dtex, and the difference of the boiling water shrinkages of the mass-colored yarn and the non-colored yarn is≤2.0%.
