摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an LaFe<SB>13</SB>based magnetic alloy material more efficiently than heretofore. SOLUTION: The magnetic alloy material comprises a compound phase with an NaZn<SB>13</SB>type crystal structure by≥75 vol.%. The magnetic alloy material also has a composition expressed by the compositional formula of Fe<SB>100-a-b-c-d</SB>RE<SB>a</SB>A<SB>b</SB>TM<SB>c</SB>D<SB>d</SB>(RE is at least one kind of rare earth element selected from the group consisting of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Tm, and includes La≥90%; A is at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of Al, Si, Ga, Ge and Sn; TM is at least one kind of transition metal element selected from the group consisting of Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn; and D is at least one kind of element selected from B, C, P, As, Se, Sb, Te, Bi, Po and At; and 5 atomic%≤a≤10 atomic%, 4.7 atomic%≤b≤18 atomic%, 0 atomic%≤c≤9 atomic%, and 1.8 atomic%≤d≤5.4 atomic% are satisfied).
