<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided high density information recording medium of high density and high capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The double-sided high density information recording medium performs reading and writing by using a laser pickup head whose wavelength is as long as, or shorter than, a blue light. The device has a substrate 100 having a land-and-groove surface on both sides, a first recording stack 110 which is formed on the land-and-groove surface of the first surface of the substrate 100 and has at least one information recording layer, a second recording stack 120 which is formed on the land-and-groove surface of a second surface of the substrate 100 and has at least one information recording layer, and a cover layer 130 for covering each of the first recording stack 110 and the second recording stack 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
