<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of an operation feeling of a printer when paper feed setting of a printer host is different from a paper feeding state of a printer, especially when the paper feed setting of except roll paper is performed in the printer host and when the roll paper is at the paper feeding state in the printer. <P>SOLUTION: This print system is provided with the printer which can perform print on the roll paper and print on the routine paper, and has a discrimination means for discriminating whether or not the roll paper is in the paper feeding state and the printer host which generates the print data based on setting regarding the print which is accepted from a user, that is, setting in which specification whether or not the roll paper is fed is included and transmits the generated print data to the printer. The printer host is provided with a print control means for acquiring information whether or not the roll paper is in the paper feeding state from the printer in the case of executing the printing and for drawing a user's attention when the roll paper is in the paper feeding state and when the specification that the roll paper is not fed is performed in the setting regarding the printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
