ASHTRAY STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray, wherein the degree of freedom in positioning a illumination transmission window is improved and a colored illumination is provided at a low cost.

SOLUTION: A through hole 18 is formed on a back wall 12B of an ashtray body 12. The through hole 18 has a glass plate 20 inside the ashtray and a colored resin plate 22 outside the ashtray. Both side edges 22A of the colored resin plate 22 are inserted to right and left guide grooves 28 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the through hole 18. A locking pawl 22 of the colored resin plate 22 is locked into a locking groove 30 formed in an outer peripheral part of the through hole 18. As a result, the glass plate 20 and the colored resin plate 22 are supported by the through hole 18.
