<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sink in a welded part to reduce welding faults. <P>SOLUTION: This golf club head is manufactured by facing a connection face 10 of a first member P1 of a metal material and a connection face 11 of a second member P2 of a metal material to each other and fixing the connection faces 10, 11 to each other by laser welding. At least one of the first member P1 and the second member P2 is integrally formed with a projecting part 7 of a small height extending along the connection face and rising from the head outer surface.
