<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food and a confection which are especially effective for hypoglycaemia, and to provide a method for producing these. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the food or the confection is characterized by washing the new sprout leaves of Hydrangea macrophylla, the leaves of Hydrangeae dulcis folium, and the leaves of Lychium chinense with water, drying the washed leaves, rubbing the dried leaves to finely crush the leaves, adding a proper amount of the fine crushed leaves to a food material or a confection material, and then finishing the mixture into the product. Only by daily eating the food or the confection, a blood glucose level can naturally be lowered to prevent and treat diabetes and serve the improvement of physical constitution, the promotion of health, and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
