<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a compost-like material which is an apparatus for manufacturing a product similar to ripened compost and free from malodor for a short period of time by treating organic waste, in which continuous treatment is carried out and which is made compact because a wide heating surface area is secured. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for continuously manufacturing the compost-like material is provided with a vertical vessel 1 provided with a charge port 2 for the organic waste on the upper part and a discharge port 3 for a heat treated material on the bottom part, a heat transfer plate 4 provided in a multistage or a spiral state in the vessel 1 and a transporting means for transporting the material to be treated in the vessel 1 from the charge port 2 toward the discharge port 3. The compost-like material is continuously manufactured by heating and drying the material to be treated in the vessel 1 and further heating it at 100-200°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
