PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability by recording only the new text information at the write once without repeatedly acquiring or hand inputting the text information when the write once is carried out next time to a once recorded disk with the text information included, and also to enable the reproduction of the text information by using a reproducing apparatus when the disk is taken out from a recording apparatus in the unfinalizing state. SOLUTION: A system control part 4, to which a display part 1, key operating part 2 and a remote control receiving part 3 are connected, is prepared to integrally control the whole operation of a recording/reproducing device. The system control part 4 is a microcomputer constituted of a CPU 5, ROM 6 and RAM 7. A reproducing/recording part 8 connected to the system control part 4 is provided with a reproducing/recording operation drive 10 for appropriately controlling the reproducing/recording operation with respect to a reproducing/recording medium 9 to be loaded. A network connecting part 11 is connected to a data base through an Internet line to acquire the desired information. A recorder part 12 temporarily stores the text information.
