PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspecting an occupant weight measuring device, which can reduce the effect of frictional force in measuring the weight of occupants seated in vehicle seats. SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus for the occupant weight measuring device is an inspection device 10 for the occupant weight measuring device for measuring the weight of the seated occupant in the state in which it is mounted to the vehicle seat 1. A lifting device 80 is provided, which upwardly moves, above the conveyance surface, a seat mounting base 3 moving on a conveyance surface H in the state in which the vehicle seat is mounted, at an inspection position P on the conveyance route, and the lifting device 80 then drops it.
