PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger in which positioning of a connection pipe can be easily carried out when a cylinder part 12 provided on a flange 11 of a pipe base 1 is caulked for connecting the connection pipe 2 having directivity to the pipe base 1 provided on the heat exchanger, the connection pipe 2 is not turned even after the connection pipe is connected and when the heat exchanger is attached to an automobile air conditioner, it is not required that the connection position of the connection pipe 2 is adjusted. SOLUTION: A positioning projection 3 and a positioning recessed part 4 are provided in a plate thickness direction of the flange 11 of the pipe base 1 and a flange 21 of the connection pipe 2 and the positioning projection 3 of the flange 11 is abutted to the positioning recessed part 4 of the flange 21. Thereby, a rotation prevention part is constituted and has an engagement function. Therefore, the positioning of the connection pipe 2 is facilitated. The connection pipe is not turned even after the connection pipe 2 is connected and when the heat exchanger is attached to the automobile air conditioner, it is not required that the connection position of the connection pipe 2 is adjusted.
