PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for cooling an object to be cooled by using air which is cooling medium being most favorable from the viewpoint of the earth environment as well as safety. SOLUTION: This cooling device is provided with a compressor 1 for compressing air, a heat radiator 2 for radiating heat from the air compressed by the compressor 1, an expansion machine 5 for reducing pressure of the air cooled by the heat radiator 2 and expanding it, and a food storage device 6 for cooling canned drink S by the air whose pressure is reduced by the expansion machine 5.
