PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-leg building which facilitates the attachment/detachment of a column to/from a roof. SOLUTION: In the one-leg building which bears the roof 1 by the single column 2, the lower end of a metal roof pipe 1b hung from a roof body 1a of the roof 1, is fitted into the upper end of a metal column pipe 2a forming the column 2, and a plurality of horizontally protruding guide rods B are formed on the lower end of the roof pipe 1b, a spiral groove S is formed at the upper end of the column pipe 2a for engaging with the guide rods B, whereby the guide rods B are rotatably fitted into the column pipe 2a. Further, the column pipe 2a has a connection spiral groove J having a recessed groove H for blocking the rotation of the guide rods B at the terminal portion of the spiral groove S.
