PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying tool which is used as a pallet with buffer function that has general usability. SOLUTION: The article carrying tool comprises a pallet 1, a buffer member 2 to absorb vibration, impact or the like which are applied to the pallet 1 or an article when the article on the pallet 1 is carried or the like, and a board member 3 which is arranged on the buffer member 2 and places the article thereon. The pallet 1 is segmented into four corners 8 and recessed to store the buffer member 2. Detection parts 10 are individually formed in respective corners 8, as an impact detection mechanism. The detection part 10 comprises a hole 11 and a detection member 12 to be broken by a predetermined impact force. The buffer member 2 is stored in the corner 8 and has a hole 13 in correspondence to the detection part 10. A protrusion 14 of the board member 3 is inserted into the hole 13. The buffer member 2 is bent when an excessive impact is applied, and the protrusion 14 penetrates the hole 13 to break the detection member 12, thus it is judged that an excessive impact is applied during conveyance.
