PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gap from occurring from the internal surface of a case body even when a disk cartridge equipped with a projection at the center on the upper surface is put in. SOLUTION: A cartridge storage case 1 includes the sleeve-like case body 2 for receiving a cartridge, and a locking member 3 for locking the cartridge in the case body 2. The case body 2 includes a swell 4 for eliminating the gap positioned in a recess on the upper surface of the received cartridge 301 on the internal surface toward an opening on a first principal plane 11 or a second principal plane 12 constituting front and rear faces. The swell 4 closes the gap on the recess of the upper surface of the cartridge 301 to prevent dust or the like from entering. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
