PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF (radio frequency) coil wherein the arrangement of a decoupling circuit can be properly performed in response to desired sensitivity characteristics, and which can pick up an image of a subject by the desired sensitivity characteristics while maintaining the decoupling potential in the multichannel fused array RF coil using a single loop coil; and a magnetic resonance imaging device using the RF coil. SOLUTION: A plurality of decoupling circuits the operating states of which are controlled by a bias voltage are provided at specified intervals on respective coil elements of this RF coil, and the bias voltage is controlled. Thus, a plurality of the decoupling circuits on a loop of the coil elements are controlled in a manner to be approximately evenly arranged, and the subject can be imaged while attaching importance on the sensitivity difference. Also, by controlling a plurality of the decoupling circuits on the loop of the coil elements in a manner to be concentrically arranged, the subject can be imaged while attaching importance on the uniformity of the sensitivity characteristics.
