<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform edgeless printing where cutting of a margin is not required while preventing the region of adjacent parts from being lost to produce discontinuous output results even when a poster print function is employed. <P>SOLUTION: Print data from an input section 111 is stored in an input buffer 112. A dividing section 113 divides one page of print data received from the input buffer by divisors J and K designated from a designating section 114 and delivers a plurality of sheets of print image to a print section 115. The divisors J and K are positive integers representing the dividing number of print data in x direction and y direction, respectively.
