<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of conventional food cutting devices wherein the flavor is diminished, the feeling on the tongue is deteriorated, the food becomes relatively hard, and a high bulk thereof cannot be obtained since a rotating blade cuts the food obliquely except a part where the blade is orthogonal to a vein and fiber running direction. <P>SOLUTION: In a cutting device comprising a blade rotating device, an upper feeder and a lower feeder, that are fixed on a base, and a sequencer which controls the operations thereof wherein the upper feeder and the lower feeder pinch therebetween a material to be cut and then cut the material, selection is made between the case where the upper feeder and the lower feeder are synchronous with each other to feed the material in a direction of the rotating blade, thereby cutting the material, and the case where the upper feeder feeds the material in the direction of the rotating blade and the lower feeder feeds the material in a direction opposite to rotating blade, thereby cutting the material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
