摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for firmly joining a liquid crystal polyester film which has excellent characteristics including heat resistance, mechanical properties, electrical properties, and gas-barrier properties and is suitable for insulating members for electric and electronic components and low profile metal foil to each other. SOLUTION: The method for laminating the liquid crystal polyester film and the metal foil 5μm or below in surface roughness (Rz) includes a process for treating one or both sides of the metal foil with a coupling agent, a pre-treatment process in which one or both sides of the polyester film are blasted and/or irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and a process in which the treated surface of the polyester film and the treated surface of the metal foil are heated at a temperature of the glass transition temperature of the polyester film or above, pressed, and bonded to be integrated.
