PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search system which displays the scope of a search to a user and accurately displays the degree of similarity, between a search keyword and the document of the search result. SOLUTION: The search result document, extracted by using the search keyword by the user, is classified into a class based on the degree of similarity or the like and is displayed by being placed one upon another in a vector space displaying the class of a search object document. In Fig., a and b (hatched areas) show the class of the search result document. In addition, a server computer 7 displays words of high frequency of appearance for respective created classes a, b in the vector space.α,βand a1 of a(α,β, a1), shown in Fig. indicate the words of high frequency of appearance in the class a.
