PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-floor ventilating fan for maximizing the functions/capacity of a fan. SOLUTION: In the sub-floor ventilating fan that uses a cross flow fan or a multiblade fan, is mounted to an opening for ventilation in a floor foundation, blows air into the foundation, or exhausts air from the inside of the foundation, a board for guiding air extended to a position that is separated from the fan by a specific distance is provided toward the fan from a wind-guiding section of a casing in a direction for essentially orthogonally crossing the rotary shaft of the fan at least at one portion of the peripheral direction of the fan in a volute-shaped wind guiding passage formed at an area to the fan by the wind guiding section of the casing.
