PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the use of an electric fastening tool for fastening an elevator guide rail easily, reducing the worker's load. SOLUTION: The securing device comprises a rail bracket 2 abutting the back surface of a guide rail 3, a rail clip 4 having a base part 4d abutting the front surface of the rail bracket 2 and a contact part 4c abutting the front part of the guide rail 3, and a bolt 5 fastening the rail clip 4 and the rail bracket 2. By deploying a washer 7, the fastening part 5a is projected forwardly from the contact part 4c of the rail clip 4, allowing an electric fastening tool 9 to be put in a position free from interference with the contact part 4c of the rail clip 4.
